Sorry it’s been a while folks, I’ve got some catching up to do with my blog. Luckily, this means I’ll be posting many new things all at once 🙂 To start off, Here are some images I’ve created for my computer visualization course using 3Ds max.
I’m new to 3D so it’s been a little rocky, but VERY fun! Wrapping your mind around manipulating 3 axes at once takes some getting used to when you’ve worked in 2D your whole life. In the beginning I found myself creating a point on the correct X and Z axes, but when I began to rotate it, I noticed that the Y axis actually was way off in space. However, now that I’ve gotten used to it, I’ve found myself trying to rotate images around a 3D axis in Photoshop (kinda like trying to ctrl +z an illustration on paper… you get used to those hot keys fast!).
